NEW YORK, NY — Two weeks from now, 9/11 family members, first responders, researchers,
journalists, public figures, and concerned citizens will gather in New York City for Turning the Tide:
9/11 25 Years Later, a four-day conference marking the 25th anniversary of September 11 and
calling for truth, justice, peace, and government accountability.
Taking place September 10–13 at El Teatro at El Museo del Barrio, on Manhattan’s Museum Mile,
the conference will feature dozens of speakers spanning the 9/11 Truth movement, independent
media, public service, science, law, and related movements for transparency and accountability.
Among the featured speakers are Roger Waters, human rights activist and co-founder of Pink Floyd;
comedian and political commentator Jimmy Dore; former U.S. Representative Dennis Kucinich;
evolutionary biologist and DarkHorse Podcast host Bret Weinstein, Ph.D.; Children’s Health Defense
CEO Mary Holland, J.D.; Peak Prosperity founder Chris Martenson; biowarfare researcher and
health freedom advocate Meryl Nass, M.D.; Pentagon whistleblower Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski
(ret.); independent journalist James Corbett; architect Richard Gage, AIA; and retired Danish
professor of chemistry Niels Harrit.
They will be joined by numerous 9/11 family members, survivors, and first responders, including Matt
Campbell, who will appear before the UK Supreme Court in October in his effort to obtain a new
inquest into the death of his brother Geoff at the World Trade Center; longtime 9/11 family advocate
Bob McIlvaine; 9/11 survivor and advocate William Rodriguez; and firefighters, police officers, and
other emergency personnel who responded on September 11.
Sept. 11 Theatrical Premiere of ‘The Responders: Breaking the Silence’
A highlight of the conference will be the theatrical premiere of the new feature-length documentary
The Responders: Breaking the Silence at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 11. (See trailer.)
Combining exclusive interviews with rarely seen archival footage, the film tells the story of first
responders who risked their lives on September 11, 2001, and who later found the courage to speak
publicly about what they witnessed and experienced. The screening will be followed by a live Q&A
with director John Kirby and several of the film’s protagonists.
Friday’s program will also commemorate the 25th anniversary through testimony from 9/11 family
members, first responders, and survivors and calls for renewed pursuit of truth and justice.
Four Days Examining 9/11 — and Its Legacy
The conference opens Thursday evening, September 10, with keynote presentations and a session
examining the assassination of Charlie Kirk one year later.Saturday, September 12, will feature a marathon 12-hour program devoted to “9/11 Truth Then and
Now,” including presentations and panel discussions examining the evidence surrounding 9/11, the
history and future of the 9/11 Truth movement, and resistance through comedy, culminating with an
evening keynote by Jimmy Dore.
Sunday’s closing program, “Overcoming the Deep State,” will broaden the discussion to other major
“deep events” and crimes against democracy and explore how citizens can build a more peaceful
and accountable future.
