Dr. Amerling is a native New Yorker. He graduated Stuyvesant High School and received a BS from the City College of New York.
He then took leave and earned his medical degree at the Catholic University of Louvain in Brussels, Belgium.
Dr. Amerling completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine, and began a Nephrology Fellowship at New York Hospital, Queens in Flushing, N.Y. He completed Nephrology Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
From1990-2016, Dr. Amerling was on staff at the Beth Israel Medical Center (now Mount Sinai Beth Israel). There he developed the peritoneal dialysis program, and a program for continuous renal replacement therapy in the ICU setting. He served as Director of Outpatient Dialysis from 1995-2012.
Dr. Amerling is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is Past-President of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. He is on the editorial board of Blood Purification.
Dr. Amerling is an invited presenter at numerous medical conferences, both nationally and internationally. As author or co-author, Dr. Amerling’s work has been published as chapters in textbooks and also in peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology. He has published many op-Eds on health care economics and politics.
In October 2016, Dr. Amerling accepted a position as Professor at St. George’s University School of Medicine and taught there until July 2021.
He is currently Associate Medical Director of America’s Frontline Doctors

… anarchy is more in line with the principles of freedom “inalienable rights endowed bye the creator” (THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE of THESE UNITED STATES of AMERICA ) than the ignorance of the misled misinformed American blue line brother hood who’s mission is to conquer ‘Anarchy’ . Anarchy its etymology is no rulers = no masters no slaves, it is about natural law freedom. One can do as they will as long as they do not trespass upon another`s freedom, natural inalienable rights. Anarchy is personal response ability. It is freedom, one does not rely on government for anything. Not salary or pension. Those are necessary for public good if limited, such as a needed fire department. Homeland security and all their civil servant branches like the FDNY communications IS socialism and more of a threat to freedom than Anarchy. Anarchy is not vandalism anarchy is not violence just as the attack on the twin towers was not "TERRORISM" it was a crime a mass murder. I have not received any money for the media I am producing I am an independent this is the 1st amendment in action. Bill Pepitone has been at many of the rally’s in support of the people. Watch this piece of media and see and hear Mr Pepitone speak for himself but also stand with the people as they speak. You will see him address a large rally in NYC outside city hall but also address a group of 20-30 teachers mother fathers in Staten Island with no fan fare and another large rally. This is not a political endorsement this is a document of fact. You have not seen this on the main stream media and if you are on the fence or debating to vote you should hear this man out.
